The foundation advises before applications on its four funds: foundation funds, Trenntstadt Berlin, Zero Waste waste advice and the hunting levy. For garden projects this advice is often the quickest route to an answer on whether a scheme fits any funding remit at all and which fund is the right one.

Requirements and how to apply
Open to anyone planning a project that has not yet started. The foundation first refers to the FAQ for each fund; the shared mailbox is then available for follow-up questions.
What you should know
The foundation advises on its own money, not on state or federal funding. The foundation funds are exhausted for 2026 — the advice is still worthwhile because it prepares the application round from 2027 and the other funds continue.
