Dispute resolution under the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act

The European Commission discontinued its online dispute resolution platform on 20 July 2025; a link is therefore no longer provided. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Liability for content

As a service provider, we are responsible under § 7(1) DDG for our own content on these pages in accordance with general law. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we as a service provider are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected by this. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point in time at which we become aware of a specific infringement; upon becoming aware of any such infringements, we will remove the content concerned immediately.

We review them editorially before approval but cannot guarantee that they are accurate, complete or up to date. A listing is not a recommendation, not a statement of quality and not a certificate. The rules for listings are set out in the listing guidelines.

No substitute for asking on site

Whether a dish is really vegan, what it costs, when a place is open and whether last year’s menu is still around – in the end, only the business itself knows. So please always ask directly on site or by phone about opening hours, prices, what’s on offer and whether something is free of certain ingredients or allergens. The classification as “fully vegan” or “with vegan selection” is also based on the information provided by the businesses.
