The Nature Conservation and Urban Greenery Division is responsible for city-wide tasks and policy matters concerning Berlin's urban greenery: funding programmes, strategies such as the community garden programme and the biodiversity strategy, the „Berlin gärtnert“ platform and the rules for gardening in public space.
