Requirements and how to apply
Herbaceous plants only, 0.5 metres clear around the trunk, loosen the soil at the surface only and do not dig it over, build up no more than 10 centimetres, no fences or edgings. 70 to 100 litres of water per week are recommended. The sponsorship is arranged by phone or e-mail.

The district states that enquiries about tree donations cannot be processed for the time being because of staff shortages. As an alternative, the state's street tree campaign accepts tree donations. The article page carries no update date.
