The street and green space office in Neukölln is the responsible authority for parks, playgrounds and street trees in the district. Neukölln has no tree-pit sponsorship programme of its own — the district only provides a leaflet with care advice and refers tree donations to the state's street tree campaign.

Requirements and how to apply

Without a sponsorship programme there is also no formal application route and no published sponsorship conditions. If you want to plant a tree pit, clear the plan in advance with the green space unit via the shared mailbox or the office number.

What you should know

Gap: Neukölln is the only district without its own tree-pit sponsorship offer. The office's higher-level sections (public participation, allotments) contain no such offer either.
