What the organisation does

Förderverein der Jugendverkehrsschulen Neukölln e. V. runs two youth traffic schools in the district: at Heideläuferweg 11 in Buckow and at Wörnitzweg 5 in Britz. According to its own account, the cycling proficiency training for fourth-year classes takes place there; the association also lists courses for families, for older people and for people with disabilities, as well as bicycle advice and practice on a protected site. The grounds are reserved for schools on weekday mornings and open to the public in the afternoon; during school holidays they are open all day, and they are closed at weekends. The body is a supporting association: by its own account it was founded in 2005 to promote road traffic education for children and young people, and it publishes a donation account for that purpose.
