Riding with less stress means less motor traffic, fewer lights and more space. That can only be shown along described routes – and that is exactly what these are.

The classification does not judge how dangerous or harmless a route is. It summarises characteristics that are written out on every route page: how much of it runs structurally separated, how much goes through green spaces, how many traffic signals there are – and equally where a main road has to be crossed without a signal or where tram rails run along the route.
