About this place

Gartenarbeitsschule Borkzeile is one of two sites of the Schul-Umwelt-Zentrum Spandau and is located near Rathaus Spandau. On around 10,000 square metres, school classes and childcare groups take part in age-appropriate project lessons on environmental and nature topics, such as harvesting raspberries and potatoes, wild herbs, bees, soil science or building insect hotels. The site is open Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 3 pm and Friday until 2 pm. Visits take place only as part of registered school or kindergarten groups.
