About this place
Gartenarbeitsschule Treptow-Köpenick on Friedrichshagener Straße is run by the district office and offers a cross-district green learning site on more than 10,000 square metres. Pupils sow, tend and harvest in their own beds over a growing season and then process or taste the harvest. In addition, year-round projects on early bloomers, herb walks or building insect hotels are offered, sometimes in cooperation with external partners. Visits are arranged in advance by schools and kindergartens with the institution.
