About this place

Allmende-Kontor is one of Berlin's largest community gardens, located at the Oderstraße pioneer field on the Neukölln side of Tempelhofer Feld. Around 250 mobile raised beds are organised and tended by an open group of gardeners, grouped into several 'colour neighbourhoods'. Alongside the shared vegetable garden there are working groups for composting and water management, plus a bee garden. Anyone wanting to join first takes part in the open action days, which can lead to taking over a bed of their own.
