The Prinzessinnengarten Kollektiv has run an open vegetable garden on the grounds of the Neuer St. Jacobi Friedhof cemetery on Hermannstraße since 2020, after more than a decade at Moritzplatz. It is operated by the non-profit Nomadisch Grün gGmbH. The site grows vegetables, herbs and fruit, alongside a garden café and a neighbourhood room. Open gardening days welcome anyone without registration, membership or prior experience.
