About this place
Himmelbeet is an intercultural community garden in Berlin-Wedding with around 200 raised beds that can be rented for a year. It is run by the nonprofit Himmelbeet gGmbH, which also manages the neighbourhood garden ElisaBeet at the St. Elisabeth II cemetery. The garden is open daily, with a communal Sunday gathering day, and a garden café serves visitors. Beyond gardening, himmelbeet offers environmental education for school groups.
