About this place

Schleifengarten sits on a former garage site by the tram turning loop on Björnsonstraße and was handed over to the neighbourhood in January 2022 as a Senate pilot project. It is run by the allotment association Kleingartenanlage Bornholm 1, supported by the initiative soulgardenberlin and the Pankow district. On around 800 square metres, raised beds, a greenhouse and a rainwater system have been built; the garden also serves as a neighbourhood meeting point with festivals such as harvest thanksgiving or a swap market. During the season, the garden is open to everyone several times a week.
