About this place
The Kulturgarten on the Kulturinsel in Ernst-Thälmann-Park is run by the Pankow district office's art and culture department and combines gardening based on permaculture principles with cultural programming. Raised beds with benches and a small outdoor stage host urban-gardening workshops in the summer season alongside concerts, readings and artistic activities. The site is aimed equally at cultural practitioners, families and the neighbourhood. Participation in programme events is arranged via the department's announcements.
