About this place
At Dennewitzplatz and along Bülowstraße in Berlin-Schöneberg, the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district office de-sealed around 900 square metres of paved surfaces. Former parking bays, footway sections and street land were broken up and replaced with permeable surfaces and vegetated areas. The resulting rainwater now infiltrates on site while also supporting the surrounding street trees during heat and drought. The areas are part of the public street space and are freely accessible.
