The site is freely accessible at the start of Kantstraße next to Breitscheidplatz. Guided workshops run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 11 am and from 2 to 4 pm; binding registration by e-mail with the unit. Groups of up to 30 people, about 45 minutes each. The 2026 season ran from June to September.

About this place

At the start of Kantstraße, right next to Breitscheidplatz, the sustainable development education unit of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office runs an urban gardening site of some 700 square metres with around 50 raised beds. In the middle of City West it shows how much grows on a few square metres — which makes it a place to look at for anyone who only has a balcony or a single raised bed at home. Primary and secondary schools, daycare groups, holiday programmes, clubs and other groups can book guided workshops of about 45 minutes for up to 30 people, with binding registration by e-mail. The site is in public space and freely accessible outside workshop hours.
