People who are not members can reach the cooperative through the office for information.

About this place

The horizont housing cooperative manages around 1,400 flats in Marzahn at the Am Anger, Am Bürgerpark and Märkische Spitze estates. Every year it looks for the three finest balconies among its members and explicitly recognises colourful planting and sustainably arranged balconies alongside purely decorative ones. Entries are photographs sent to the cooperative's club address, by post to the office on Märkische Allee, or handed in as a printout to the caretaker; winners are notified personally. For a large housing estate the competition is one of the few organised occasions to green the small spaces on the building. The balconies themselves are private.
