About this place
The outdoor area of the Reginhard primary school near Letteplatz was rebuilt in order to reduce sealed surfaces. Asphalt and concrete gave way to partly permeable paving, and rainwater now seeps away on site instead of running into the sewer. Play and seating areas were redesigned and planted at the same time. The work was carried out by the streets and green spaces department of the Reinickendorf district office; planning began in 2018. The yard is school grounds and is not open to the public during school hours.
