Vegan in Neukölln: Schillerkiez and Rixdorf
All place and event details in this guide come live from the directory and are not maintained in the text.
Between Tempelhofer Feld and Richardplatz lie two Neukölln worlds: the lively Schillerkiez with its snack bars and cafés, and village-like Rixdorf with cobblestones and a smithy. They are easy to reach from each other on foot or by bike – and both are worth a vegan visit.
Schillerkiez: snack culture by the field
The Schillerkiez lives off Tempelhofer Feld. Whoever comes from the field is hungry – and finds a dense mix of snack bars, cafés and ice-cream parlours along Herrfurthstraße and around Herrfurthplatz. Many places are not fully vegan but have a clearly marked selection. The cards below show the current state from the directory, including today's opening hours.

A classic for a quick bite after the field:
Rixdorf: a village in the city
Just a few streets on it gets quiet. The old Bohemian village around Richardplatz has cobblestones, a village smithy and, in December, the well-known Christmas market. Vegan here means less snacking, more shopping and sitting down.
