Around the clock, 7 days a week, free of charge with a German phone contract. Not for life-threatening emergencies — call 112 instead. Does not cover dentists.
Berlin Crisis Service (Berliner Krisendienst)
If you are in an emotional crisis or are worried about someone. Free of charge and anonymous on request.
Available in person every day from 4 pm to midnight — the location for the district where you live is responsible:
At night from midnight to 8 am, and at weekends and on public holidays from 8 am to 4 pm: city-wide standby service on 030 390 63 10 (the same number as the Mitte, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg location).
On weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm, this number only offers information and referral by phone.
