Borrowing and swapping in your neighbourhood. Lending conditions are set by each place. Some Berlin public libraries lend objects as a “Library of Things”. Example Tempelhof-Schöneberg: everyday and leisure items such as tools, sewing kits, outdoor toys or a bouncy castle can be borrowed free of charge at all its branches; they can be found in the online catalogue www.voebb.de with the search term “Bibliothek der Dinge” [1].
