How we select
This page explains options and names sources. It is not legal, tenancy, tax, funding or energy advice for individual cases. Whether something applies to your building or contract should be checked with an advice centre or the responsible authority.
The Built Capital shows how buildings, homes and neighbourhoods in Berlin can become more climate-friendly. hauptstadt.net has an editorial line: the political centre with a clear green slant. It shows in the choice of topics — climate protection in buildings, renewable heat, shared living, reuse — not in judgements on parties, laws or debates.
We only include funding programmes from public or non-profit funding bodies, each with funding body, status, deadline, a link to the original source and the date checked. Amounts and conditions are set by the funding body. We do not convert figures and do not mark any programme as especially suitable.
We only show organisations as independent advice if they declare this with evidence and do not sell products or carry out work for the same measure. We treat associations representing tenants and associations representing owners in the same way; we do not reproduce their political positions.
Specialist businesses are marked as commercial providers; we list qualifications individually with list or register and the date checked. Energy advisers working under their own name only appear if they add themselves. We do not broker jobs, compare quotes or give ratings.
Not on this site: flats and property for sale or rent, estate agents, tariff and product comparisons, funding or savings calculators, and political campaigns. You will find participation procedures in the Engaged Capital. Inclusion and the checking of details are not a seal of quality and not advice for individual cases.
