How we select
We list support services, funding programmes and places with their source and the date we checked them. We do not give advice or ratings; the information published by the providers and funding bodies is what counts.
We include support services that advise on starting and running a business in Berlin, or point the way there, and describe their offer on their own website. We include commercial providers only if their offer is publicly funded or free of charge and they say so themselves.
We include funding programmes when the funding body describes them itself. We give the amount and eligibility only as a word-for-word quote; whether you can apply is calculated at the time you look, from status and deadline.
We include places when operator, address and access are stated on their own website. Places under development are marked as such.
Every detail carries its source and the date it was retrieved. Once the review interval has passed (funding 30 to 90 days, support services 180 days, places 365 days), the entry shows “Review due” until we have checked it again.
Nobody can buy a place. Entries are in alphabetical order; funding programmes show open ones first, by deadline. We do not name individuals and there are no ratings.
Something missing or wrong? Let us know via “Get involved” – we check every report against the source.
